AIHA Connect 2024
The first of this season’s excitement took place in Columbus, Ohio where our team took on AIHA Connect 2024. Our journey of Chemical and Explosive Detection Tradeshows this summer started off great!
“Everyone who attended this show had a unique perspective on safety in the workplace. We also heard great suggestions on how to integrate the SafeAir and ChromAir badges into existing safety programs. I think that played a big part in getting to have genuine conversations with a lot of the consultants and Industrial Hygienists at the show.”

Since the American Industrial Hygiene Association’s (AIHA) founding in 1939, AIHA’s annual conference has focused on the important trends, needs, research, technologies, training, and connections that make occupational health and safety (OHS) professionals – all of whom are responsible for the safety, health, and environment of today’s workspaces – more efficient in their pursuit of protecting worker health.
Black Sea Defense & Aerospace Exhibition (BSDA) 2024
It was an awesome opportunity to be with our new distributor in Romania, RomTech. They introduced the Chameleon and TraceX to their customers and potential customers at the Black Sea Defense and Aerospace Exhibition. It was a very successful event for Morphix.

Since Eastern Europe is a relatively new market for our Chameleon hands-free chemical detector and TraceX Explosive Detection Kit, there was a lot of excitement and interest. RomTech’s director, Camelia Costei, said, “Our customers keep bringing their friends to see the Chameleon and TraceX!”. The BSDA 2024 Homeland Security, Safety & Protection Conference took place May 20-24, 2024 in the beautiful National Military Club, a Ministry of National Defense building which was built more than 100 years ago. BSDA 2024 was organized together with the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs and brought together the industry and the governmental decision makers with competencies in this field. In the new geo-political and social realities, the Romanian Government is looking to upgrade and secure its citizens, critical infrastructure and borders. The main theme of the event was the Security & Safety Challenges in the Never Ending Environment Changes & Advancing Technologies.
International Hazardous Materials Response Team Conference (2024)
The International Hazardous Materials Response Team Conference (or HazMat 2024). Hosted by the International Association of Fire Chiefs, this is one tradeshow that the Morphix team looks forward to year after year.
This conference is a chance for HazMat teams around the US to come together. They make a difference in their training, networking, and ultimately in other’s lives with the knowledge that they take with them.
“HazMat feels like less like a conference and more like a meeting of the minds with one goal in common: Keep people safe. The show is run very well and from vendors to attendees, everyone is there to learn a little bit of something new.”
Morphix Technologies brought the Chameleon Chemical detection Armband and the TraceX Explosive detection kit to the booth. The simplicity of colorimetric chemical and explosive detection got the show buzzing. and the ‘Hazard Identification Testing System (HITS course)’ featured a live demonstration of the Chameleon on a drone kept that excitement flowing through the show! International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators In-Service Training and Expo 2024 (IABTI IST 2024)
The IABTI was held in Las Vegas NV at the Southpoint Hotel Casino and Spa from June 23-28, 2024. Wrapping up our Chemical and Explosive Detection Tradeshows for the summer, the IABTI members met to learn about new threats, recent world events involving explosives and the see the newest advances in technology.
“Participating in the IABTI, is always a chance for us to see our customers and also fellow solution providers. We use the opportunity to see how we can work together. The demonstration day is a great opportunity for us to showcase those relationships. We are always grateful to the robot manufacturers who allowed us to showcase the TraceX on their robots.”
The TraceX Explosive Detection kit is the only colorimetric explosive detection kit that allows the user to detect all the major classes of explosives and precursors with a single swab in one test. TraceX is small, compact and great for sensitive site assessment and sensitive site exploitation.
The IABTI in-Service Training and Expo provides lecture style presentations and case studies. There are also related workshops from some the best international explosives related subject matter exhibits. More than fifty exhibitors showcase their specialized tools, equipment and services.
