SafeAir Chlorine & Chlorine Dioxide badges are dual-purpose sensors made to provide an immediate visual indication of exposure to chlorine and/or chlorine dioxide gas. The color change may appear on the front if chlorine is present and/or on the backside of the badge if chlorine dioxide is present; depending upon the level of exposure of the two contaminants. The intensity of the color change is proportional to the exposure dose. When chlorine dioxide is generated, chlorine may not be completely converted to chlorine dioxide. The SafeAir badge allows the user to know if both chlorine and chlorine dioxide are present.
